Date: August 1992
Subject: IBM Operating system 2 Version 2.0 NOTES
Accessing 16 Megabytes on motherboard memory
Get the "GT16MB.ZIP" (shareware) file from COMPUSERVE's
IBM conference; this file will unzip into 3 files:
OS2LDR, OS2LDRD and README. Follow the instructions in
the readme file in order to proper install the new OS2

Greater than 1Gb support "aha154x.add" driver
The "aha154x.add" drivers dated after the initial
release of OS2 (3-30-91) with the latest being BETA
released on August 13, 1992. These BETA drivers are
accessible from either the IBM Conference or from
Adaptec's BBS as "AHA154X.EXE".
This driver will
1. Enable the booting of drive greater than 1Gb, even
though only the first 1Gb will be recognized.
2. The use of non-booting drives over 1Gb in
capacity.
ASPI support
The latest ASPI driver should also be available from the IBM conference
under the names: OS2- ASPI.EXE or OS2ASPI.EXE, which should unzip into
OS2ASPI.SYM and OS2ASPI.DMD, the latest being dated August 19, 1992.
This driver is being tested by the SCSI department.
